The Health Secretary will set out the Government’s vision for healthy communities, including the importance of health to social fabric, the role of community institutions to the NHS, and what more can be done to prevent demand.
Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP: Sajid Javid was appointed Secretary of State for Health and Social Care on 26 June 2021. He was previously Chancellor of the Exchequer from 24 July 2019 to 13 February 2020. He was Home Secretary from 30 April 2018 to 24 July 2019. He was Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government from 8 January 2018 to 29 April 2018, and Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government from July 2016 to January 2018.
